The Above the Swamp website has been recreated from the ground up using a more modern content management system as its core. All of the articles have been transferred to the new system along with the user base. I've tried to insure that each user who created an avitar has had that image restored but some problems may have crept into that conversion process. If you can't login first try to retrieve your password with the automated system. If you find that you user id is missing then you will need to re-register. If your avitar is incorrect or missing you can upload a new one from your Swamp Talk profile page.
At this time the old messages in the forum are gone - I'm trying to figure out a way to transfer them. Other than that, the new forum (Swamp Talk) is ready for use. |

Hi all, hope you are doing well. I just shot a commercial for "Expedia" on 9/22/11. It was a fun but a very long shoot day, finished at 2am, The commercial will play on the interbet, possibly go to network TV in January, 2012. On february 8th I finished shooting on Clint Eastwood's new movie "J.Edgar." I played Hoover's father. It was lovely working with Mr. Eastwood and the star of the movie Leonardo DiCaprio. |

Hi all, I just finished the rewrite on "The Shy Boy" my horror film for Harel Goldlstein, producer of "Underground" the film I did for him last August. Also just laid lown the vocal track for my new "voice over" demonstration CD. Doing '09 taxes now. What's your news? Best, Jack Donner |

Hi all, just booked a new role "Buzz" in the film "Dumbells" start shooting July 11, 2011. "J.Edgar" directed by Clint Eastwood, in which I play Leonardo DiCaprio's father should be out this winter as well as "333" a horror movie and one of my favortie roles of "Big Didi" an ex crime boss in "ANew York Heartbest" will be out this winter or next spring. 'm delighted to report that I finished writing the first draft of a new book called "The Powerful Actor." It is more than acting technique, it's also about the vital importance of each person's uniqueness and power. It is being edited as we "speak." I leave for Pittsburg to do a movie, "A New York Heartbeat" in which I play the role of 'Big Didi, an ex maffia don who has been in hiding for 30 years and has devoted (and protecting from the big bad world) to raising his niece; she, however gets involved with the leader of a teen gang who steals money from the grown up crooks.
